I started with a messaging guide built from Vanessa's own calls and questionnaires, capturing the way she naturally talks, including her habit of calling her approach a system. Every credential and claim on the site comes straight from her, and anything unconfirmed stayed off the page until she verified it.
The website is built around her six pillars. An interactive section lets visitors open each one and see how training, nutrition, recovery, hormones, and the rest fit together, so her method feels concrete instead of vague. A "Sound familiar?" section names what women over 40 are dealing with, and a comparison section shows the difference between following a structure and guessing on your own, without taking shots at other coaches.
To show what's inside the private app, I designed a grid that previews what coaching includes, from one-on-one video calls to virtual stretching sessions and live classes on hormones and nutrition. A testimonials slider, a transformation section, and a feed of Vanessa's own Reels bring in real results and her personality. Every button asks visitors to apply for coaching or book a discovery call, which keeps the relationship personal from the very first click.
Behind the scenes, the online coaching pages are written to reach women searching nationwide, while in-person training and bodywork are written for local San Diego searches. The look is calm and modern, with cream and sand tones, charcoal type, dusty blue accents, and custom-coded sections that swipe naturally on a phone.
Vanessa's best offer is also her hardest to show. Her online coaching happens inside a private, invite-only app, so visitors can't browse it, preview a program, or buy a plan. There's no pricing on the site and no sign-up button. Every visitor has to decide from the website alone whether Vanessa is worth applying to.
She also offers three services in two different markets. Online coaching reaches women nationwide, while in-person training and bodywork are local to San Diego. The site needed to lead with coaching without making the other services feel like an afterthought.
Then there was trust. Vanessa is younger than most of the women she coaches, so she can't lean on "I've been there." Her credibility had to come from her training, her knowledge, and a system women could see for themselves.
